Recently, I decided to stop procrastinating and backup the data from the drive and of course it started showing signs of degradation with the email and config files reporting i/o errors. I was complacent and didn`t replace the failed drive or backup it up (knowing I was taking a chance). As technology evolved, I began to use it only for email and as a config file repository.Ī short while ago, one of the drives degraded, but the HP ProLiant Server (Raid 1+0) still functioned fine on the remaining drive.
